Day 1.  International flight – Osh.

Airport – Osh city

Day 2. Osh. Full day

Excursions according to the program.

 Arrive in Osh. Accommodation in a hotel.Breakfast in a hotel. City tour: The historical and cultural monument “Sulaiman Mount” and the Historical Museum located in one of the mountain caves.  After excursion in the museum we follow the way of pilgrims up to the top of the hill. There is a little brick mosque, built by Babur, the Great Mughal Empire founder. Take an awesome bird eye’s view of the city!  Lunch in a local café. Visit the Osh market.  A short walk to the Osh bazaar and its “Golden Rows” to learn about the life of the people and watch the exotic works of artisans and craftsmen.

Dinner in Uzbek family house. Return to the hotel.

Day 3. Osh – Uzgen city – Osh.Bishkek flight.

Excursions according to the program.

Accommodation: Hotel 3*

After breakfast, 60 km drive to the city of Uzgen. Sightseeing in the city.Lunch in local cafe.

Flight Osh-Bishkek.

Accommodation in hotel.

The capital and industrial center of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek is a city of wide avenues, handsome buildings and Soviet heritage. The gesturing statue of Lenin can still be seen in the city’s vast central square and it is the permanently snowcapped Kyrgyz Ala-Tau mountain range which towers over Bishkek providing a quite stunning backdrop.

Dinner in local restaurant.

Return to the hotel.

Day 4.Bishkek-AlaArcha Natural Park-Bishkek

Breakfast in the hotel. Excursion to the AlaArcha Natural Park situated 40 km from the city. Hiking in the park.The park is a popular place for hiking, skiing and mountaineering which includes trips to more than 20 glaciers. It covers an area of 200 km² - mostly forested valleys, waterfalls and rivers rich in trout. The altitude of the ranges varies from 1500m to the highest point 4895m (Peak Semenov TienShanskii). Several rare species of fauna and especially traditionally revered juniper trees are under protection in the Natural Park. It has very diverse fauna: mountain meadows are the habitat for wild goats, deer and marmots. AlaArcha National Park is one of the few places of the habitat of the rare snow leopard.

Picnic lunch in the territory of the park.

In the afternoon we drive back to the city to have a sightseeing tour there.

Walking around the Ala Too Square, the “White House”, the Parliament House, the Historical State Museum, the Lenin Monument, and watch the changing of the Guard of Honor.

Dinner in local restaurant.

Optional:folklore show during dinner.

Day 5.Bishkek – IssykKul Lake

Accommodation: Hotel 4*

After breakfast we drive to the IssykKullake. We make a stop in our way for a visit to the Burana Tower near Tokmok city. Burana was a minaret built in the ancient Balasagun, one of the capitals of the Qarakhanid state which flourished in this region between X-XII centuries AC.

Optionally: We can organize a demonstration of Kyrgyz traditional horse games on the surroundings.

Along with hunting dogs and birds, horses have always played an important role in the life of Kyrgyz people. They were used in every day life as true assistants in household and as thoroughbred racers. There are still some popular festivals of horse games like ulaktartysh, kyzkuumai, tyiynenmei, etc., held throughout the year.

Then, we drive three hours and we are at the IssykKullake, the second alpine lake on earth, after the Titicaca in South America. Accommodation in hotel on the shore.Free time.

Day 6.IssykKul Lake – Karakol town

Excursions according to the program.

Km per day: 150 km

Accommodation: Guest House

Breakfast en the hotel. Visit the Cholpon Ata Petroglyph Site - traces of an open air temple leaved here by Usun and Scythian tribes, who settled at the IssykKul basin from IX y VIII BC till III - IV AC.

After the excursion we continue our way to Karakol. We visit both the Memorial, and a Museum named after  M. Przevalski  the eminent Russian explorer. Lunch in local cafe.After lunch we visit the Dungan Mosque, a singular example of classic Chinese style, built at the beginning of XX century, which serves as a temple for local Dungan Muslims. We also visit the Russian Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity, all made of wood more than a hundred years ago without the use of a single iron nail.

Day 7.Karakol - Bishkek

After breakfast we continue our way back to Bishkek

along the southern shore of the IssykKul lake.

We make a stop at the JetyOguz gorge and walk close

to the “Broken Heart”.

JetyOguz in Kyrgyz means “Seven Bulls”. This picturesque gorge is named so because of the red rocky sand formations covered with forests of Tien Shan spruces.

Lunch in family house in Bokonbaevo village.

Optionally:bread making demosntration in Bokonbaevo village.

 Arrive at Bishkek.

Free time upon arrival.

Dinner in local restaurant in Bishkek.

Optionally:folklore show during dinner

Day 8. Bishkek

Transfer to the airport early in the morning to catch your flight home.
